will wizards of the coast do D&D classics in 4th ed

Against the Giants would be so awesome.

But what would also be neat is if they took the next step after SKR's 25th anniversary update. What happens after the cloud giants are defeated? The country probably has roving bands of giants everywhere and that might be a neat enough setting for a one shot adventure from WotC.

(Can you tell I DM'd this? Had a blast.)

I want to see:

Temple of Elemental Evil (this would seriously rock with the revised cosmology, IMO)

Against the Giants (this would also rock with the ne

Queen of the Demonweb Pits

Against the Cult of the Reptile God

Isle of Dread (would be cool as a sort of D&D version of King Kong's Skull Island)

Ravenloft (I'd love to see a "half-vampire" or "vampire-touched" race in this kind of book, like the dhampir)

The first three would make great campaign sets. I'd love to see something like adventure paths for them. Importantly, I think all of these adventures should be redesigned from the ground up - keep what was cool about them, but throw out whatever was lame.

I'd also like to see the Rod of Seven Parts and the Wind Dukes of Aaqa make an appearance. Oh ... I just had a thought - what if the Wind Dukes are a bunch of powerful, benevolent, air-themed genasi (kind of like elemental versions of Bralanis or Ghaeles, which seem to be powerful Eladrin)? I'll have to peruse the 4e FR book to get an idea of the race.

Actually, a question akin to this was raised this weekend at I-CON, when someone asked how hard a conversion would be.

The guys said "It should be very easy." Apparently the xp-based encounter system should allow you to recreate these modules with only minor changes. I'm looking to collect these old school modules and books anyway, so I'll probably try my hand at come June ;)

I'd like to add a couple of the S series in there. Specifically the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth.

spoilers . . .

Imagine the kind of battle you'd have in a certain room that looked like an inverted pyramid. Each tier filled with different monsters.

And who wouldn't love to run a certain vampire princess, whose current prison is a room in the shape of a perfect globe.
