The only good thing I thought about the first one was that it was so bad they couldn't possibly make a sequel. At least LOTR got it right.

Will I go see it? Absolutely!

How can you not go see a movie that is as potentially as bad as this? Go, laugh, throw popcorn on the screen. Talk through-out it. Make snide comments, like
-If I were the DM this is what I would have done (explain in detail)
-If I were the director this is what I would have done (explain in more detail)
-You call that game balance???? On pg 118 of the rulebook...
-Calling out criticals or fumbles; (Ooooh, that's gotta hurt!)
-Whenever a pretty girl comes on screen, rehash the charisma vs comeliness debate.

Remember, talk really, really loud. If anyone asks you to shut up, hold up your Player's Handbook or DMG, and say "I've already read the books, so I know how this ends. Badly!"

To paraphrase (contact), the only way I'll see this is if they're handing out hamburgers and handjobs in the theater lobby.

 Well I've obviously been going to the wrong theater...

Nope, not a chance in hell, it can freeze for as I care, I didn't see any of the lotR movies in the theaters so I’m not going to give that honor to this trash… :)

I wanted to like the first one. I really did. But it was so horrible. I wanted to get up and leave the theatre! If it was a deliberate parody like The Gamers I could see that but they were serious!

No way am I going to see Dungeons & Dragons 2. Maby when it comes on TBS.

Even though "No" is winning at the moment, I'm surprised at how mixed the responses are.

(I wonder what inspired name they'll give Paris's character... ;))

I voted maybe. I depends on many factors, such as the reviews and what other movies are in theaters at the time of release.

The first D&D movie was undeniably bad, and the Ridley character would be described as a twink in most normal D&D parties. Still, I do occasionally enjoy watching the D&D movie just for lighthearted, campy fun. :)
