I just notice how undying this topic is...no matter the views that came before hand(there is another thread that exist and it is bigger than this one) that this accursed movie discussion keeps coming back.

Heck, yeah. I saw Red Dragon in the theatre. I saw the first D&D movie twice in the theatre. I saw Pirates of the Caribbean in the theatre. I'm a sucker.

Of course I'm going to see this in theatre. Assuming it ever gets made. Assuming it ever gets released in theatrical distribution. I do not assume that any of that is going to happen. Just because somebody said to Paris Hilton, "Hey, wanna be in the Dungeons and Dragons movie?" is not much evidence that it's actually getting made.

The first movie sucked and the only good thing about the night that I saw it was the joint I smoked with some of my other friends after the movie...

I definatly intend to see the 2nd one, no matter how digusting and vile the first one was, just because it's a D&D title, it should be fun to laugh at at the very least.
I was wondering if the movie would be any better if you had never played D&D or read the books before, because it seems the only people who even semi-enjoyed it were the ones who had no idea what D&D was.

The first one was horrid, Henry insults Beastmaster by comparing the two =) .

I just couldn't get into a movie where the co-stars were two fake Ferrets, with footage of the real ones for close-up shots.

I will see this movie, though I will not pay the 7.50 to see it in the theater. Especially seeing how the first one was horrible and it at least had a cast that *could* have done great things with it.
I will just hope I have a friend who stupidly buys it and then I can see it for free

Seriously, it'll probably still look like Hercules or Xena, and it'll suck. Paris Hilton in a lead role? Are we sure we're not talking about the time she was in the local inn and someone cast Clarivoyance?
