Wimp, Munchkin, or Ok? Azrael

I seem to remember that it does keep the spell for the full attack because all I remember about it is that I instantly banned it too...don't forget repeated Fingers of Death too--with flurry of blows, they'll eventually miss a save.

Finger of Death isn't a touch spell, so you couldn't use it with the feat (it's from The Book of Eldritch Might III by the way). I don't see a big problem with the feat - if there is a problem it's pretty much as problem with Harm more than anything else.

There's also Irresistible Dance--if you can get them to surround you, that feat combined with Irresistible Dance could take out a whole bunch of enemies without giving a save. Slay Living is another touch-and-die spell. There's plenty of others too.

Well - the worst this means is using an 8th level spell, you get a good use out of a(Compulsion) [Mind-Affecting] spell. At 20th level, with 2 levels monk, you will have +10 base attack, for 2 attacks, one at -5. Not too powered for a feat.

The real broken examples all seem to use cleric spells - so, as a fix, with arcane magic only!

Thanee - the column width is formatted to make the spell selection below more organized, though it does make reading the stats difficult while using the computer version (I print it out rather then play using a computer - so no loss for me. If I played using my character on computer, though, I'd widen the column!)

But to *read* the stats one can widen the column. :)

Ok - besides harm, are there any over the top touch spells to watch for? If not, I'd like to keep as is & just not use harm (not on my list) - but if there are too many, I'll may have to switch out the feat!

Harm is just an extreme example. That feat is broken with most touch spells.

If your DM is fine with it, sure, but I would never allow it in any case.

What problem touch spells are there for arcane casters? It seems the bulk of the abusable spells are divine. I would really like to keep this feat (or a variation of it), and if I can identify specific areas, perhaps I can ‘nerf it’ enough to keep it balanced.

My initial view of this feat is that it is similar to augment summons in power. A non-meta feat that boosts a limited class of spells.

As an alternative – are you aware of any touch spell related feats?
