Windows Users, I Need Your Help!

Hi folks

If you're using Konfabulator (http://www.konfabulator.com) on Windows then I'd like some help testing out my latest widget: StatBlockPaster.

I've made a Windows version but am unable to test it to even see if it works at all at all. So can some ENWorld Windows users load this puppy up and see if it works?

Just download (assuming you have Konfabulator installed) and it should run just fine. I hope.

And if you're not using Konfabulator, um, why not?

I didn't even know Konfabulator had a windows version...

What does StatBlockPaster do, exactly?

Hmmm... Installed it and had some problems.

1. The format isn't correct for windows. I unzipped the zip file and got a folder called StatBlockPaster.widget. I grabbed WidgetConverter from the Konfab website and was able to convert it into the windows format. (With more experimentation, I learned that all I had to do was rename it from blah.widget.zip to blah.widget - the next part still doesn't work.)

2. It ran and I got the little purple monster, but when I click on it, it says "Pick a type" but the box is blank and there are no options.

Okay, thanks. Doesn't work.

The whole "make a Windows widget on your Mac" thing needs some work, I think. But I'll investigate and let you know.

Heya, XCorvis (or any other helpful-feeling Windows users): Can you try again -- this time just right-click the link and do a "Save Link As..." or whatever you do to save the linked file rather than have your browser try to open it.

The format is correct now, so I just had to double click it to run. Unfortunately, now it doesn't even launch the "Choose a type" window when I click the monster.
