the simple fact that it is x-box exclusive should be enough. the only good exclusive they have is Panzer Dragoon Orta, so go buy that instead.

Yep, FF is mostly PS exclusive, expecialy since Sony helped Squaresoft recover from the FF movie.

You make a good point. One can only assume he is talking about Ocarina of Time, which may be his favorite game ever. Feh. It's all subjective anyway as everyone has a different favorite. Heck, mine change with the seasons.

As for Final Fantasy, which I know the Gamecube is getting FF Crystal Chronicles I don't believe it's a true FF. If it was, it would have a Roman Numeral after the FF. That's just how I view the series, of course.

If he is referring to OoT, then I salute his excellent taste! It's my current favorite, as well (though Metroid Prime and a few selections from the 16-bit era come close).

Crystal Chronicles looks awesome... reminds me of Secret of Mana which is my favorite Squaresoft game ever, save for Final Fantasy 3 (or FF VI, for the purists) and, perhaps, Chrono Trigger. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance looks amazing, too. I'm hyped about both of these games.

I didn't really like OoT all that much but I will admit it was a good game. Just no where close to my favorite game nor even my favorite Zelda game (LttP owns that title).

SoM was awesome. I loved all the Square stuff for the SNES. Chrono Trigger is easily one of my top 3 favorite games ever. And FF Tactics Advanced will be great, too as I adored the original.

It's really that great? I was kind of sceptical about the graphics, but I was going to rent it and then judge it. If it's really that good, maybe I'll just skip the renting and buy it.

Yes, it is oodles of fun. I give it a very high recommendation. This is one of the must-own games for any 'Cube owner, IMHO.

Wind Waker is absolutely incredible. I haven't felt this kind of joy from freedom, adventure, and exploration since the original Zelda. It's truly a work of art. Arguably the best game of this generation, easily.
