I'm almost more amped up for the show to start than I am for the next book (it's been sooooooo long my excitement level for the new book is begining to wane a bit).

I think the next book is just a vicious rumor to toy with us....

I'm not going to bother being excited (much) about the next book of any series until I've actually got it to read. Ghost Story, A Dance with Dragons, Tongue of Serpents (it's out, but I don't have it), Republic of Thieves, whatever.

Similarly, I'm trying not to get too excited about the TV show -- it might suck, I might not be able to afford HBO, it might get cancelled after 1 or 2 seasons, etc.
