Wis Bonus To Attack?

Is there any feat that allows a Monk to gain his Wis bonus to either attacks or damage?

Intuitive Attack, I believe the feat is called.

IIRC, it grants Wis to attacks, instead of Strength, for simple weapons only.

That is correct. And to disagree with Darklone, I'd not call it broken at all. Pretty similar to weapon finesse really. Replace one stat with another for attack bonus with a slightly non-optimal weapons list. It is really quite nice for a cleric, but without strength that cleric is going to have a tough time doing damage...

It's a no-brainer for str monks. It may not be broken, but IMHO a feat that reduces MAD is always bad since that's a major balancing factor.

Or perhaps a feat that reduces MAD is always good since as MAD is a poor balancing factor? :)

Weapon Finesse for Dex-Monks seems on the weak side IMO. This is on very slightly better (and only for some builds as the limitation to simple weapons is significant to most characters including clerics).

I do not understand your "no-brainer" comment. Surely Str-Monks would never spend on feat for this as their Str is very close to (or higher than) their Wis. A Str-Monk should be taking Weapon Focus instead. Did I misunderstand?

Not necessarily. But most str monks I've seen couldn't afford Wis 18 if they wanted to have high strength, these guys can boost AC while maintaining a not so bad damage.

You're right, it's not so bad for monks but I really hate that feat for clerics.

Flavorwise, I think we both agree it does leave much to be desired. I am not sure it is unbalanced, as a Cleric using simple weapons usually has trouble getting reasonable damage output.

An unusual PsiWarrior build might benefit from this feat...
