Witch class from Dragon #114?

BOZ---I wrote up a full 1e rendition of the Witch derived from the old TD version from BoD#1 (I forget the original issue), the Dragon 114 version, and my own twisted imaginings. I haven't tried to convert it to 3e, but could probably dig it up if you'd like some additional ideas to consider/play it/mutate/etc.

I'll do a conversion in the next couple of days and post it up here. A couple of questions though:

1. Does you want an arcane or divine version of the class
2. Do you want the witch spellcasting to be spontaneous or prepared (personally I would favor spontaneous)
3. Any house rules on classes for the campaign you're playing that I should be aware of when designing the class.

To make sure I have the right image in mind, is this the same copy of Dragon magazine which came out in the 80's with the cool cover (had a witch kneeling and offering something up to the sky)?

If it is, I fondly recall that class being great! I would love to see a conversion of that class, as well.

that's the one... the Quintessential Witch from Mongoose seems very familiar to it, if I recall from the glance I took at the book owned by a friend of mine.

The Green Ronin masterclass Witch. Unfortunatly I don't have this one so can't comment on it... if it's anything like their other class books I wouldn't be suprised if it was spectactular.

HAve It!! Very good content.

The class is basically a mix of sorceror and druid. The is also a nice list of potions, new spells (mass polymorph other), and a focus on ritual magic rules.
I actually wish someone IMC would try it.
