Witch class from Dragon #114?

didn't get much of a chance to talk (i was late to the game, and the game ran late and i left before it was over) but i did show him the printout, and i'll try to catch him on the phone today or tomorrow.

Probally just as well. My computer's data drive (160GB Western Digital) let loose with the dreaded click of death. I've lost all my data on it--including all my rpg files. I will be reconstructing the class from memory and my handwritten notes. Once I have an electronic version of it I will post it up here ASAP.

this campaign took a backseat to our epic level campaign, so it has only run twice so far. however, if you do complete something, i will give it to the DM for future reference.

I'd love to see the adjusted class posted here Mercucio, and am sorry to hear your computer had a fit. This is a nice topic on a character type which is more quietly popular than most any other I know.

The 'Witch' from the Master Class series is a sorcorer with:

1) spells based off of Wisdom, instead of charaisma
2) gains metamagic or item creation feats every 5 levels
3) 4 skill points per level
4) Thousand faces and timeless body (I forget what levels)

Great book and class set up, especially the rules on ritual magic. The spells available are different (our witch uses sobriety liberally on each adventure!!) and the book comes with a complete list of magical and non-magical potions (including contraceptives!!!)

I'm ranting,but it is an excellent book.

Wizards is coming out with complete arcane soon and the Warlock class may be what your looking for. Also if you're talking about the witch class I think your talking about its too powerful it gets a wisdom bonus to arcane spells.
