Wither Star Wars d20?

As opposed to a fan-brewed version currently available?.

Thats why I said "official". I have made my own version which I like better than what Ive seen on the internet, but I would still like a WOTC treatment of the class.

Honestly, because of the differences between the KotOR games and the actual d20 game, a Jedi Sentinel class really adds nothing that the other two Jedi classes don't already have. It works in the game because the Force and a couple other key elements work differently(namely, skills), but with the d20 game, there's just not much of a reason for it to exist.

I think it's just a case that WOTC operates on a different principle than anyone else in the business. For them, SWRPG isn't big enough. For any other company, it would be more than enough.

I mean, as someone posted in general, SJG released a statement about their year, and they had something like $2.8 million in income, gross. SJG is probably the 5th largest or so RPG company.

For Hasbro, something worth $2.8 million isn't even worth the paperwork for.

WotC will either renew or not renew. The main problem with SWd20 is pretty simple: there are not that many people buying it, to be blunt.

There are probably far more people who were buying SW than were buying any of the other non-D&D books wizards puts out.

The irony is that some braniac at WoTC probably made the decision based on the "problem" that SW would compete with D20 Future. Which really makes sense... Kill the licensed game based on the multi-billion dollar movie series that's one of the most influencial of all time, keep the generic "future" game.

I think someone needs to be shot.

I disagree. I find that there is indeed a need for a middle ground class between Consular and Guardian. Someone not quite as skill heavy as the Consular but not quite as battle ready as the Guardian, but betwixt both. Obviously, ymmv.

But how would you change it around? Look closely and you'll see that the Jedi Guardian and Soldier are the ONLY two classes with BAB up as high as they are, with all the others classes being equal. SWd20 doesn't have a middle ground in there. So really, the only differences would come in Bonus Feat selection, and really, we don't need a whole new class that will essentially look more like the Jedi Consular(which isn't all that skill heavy when you look at it)

I hate to put you on the spot, but that statement smacks of opinion. I'd like to know if you have hard facts to back up your affirmation. I'm not saying you're wrong, but I don't see how you can make such a specific statement without some raw data. :\

I agree with what others have said, more adventures (or "modules," as we grandpas used to call 'em in the old days) would have been helpful. (In my opinion. ;) )

That assumes that they would go the direction you are talking about. I agree, in that case. I did not go in this direction, and I like the end result. Of course, the point is moot since WOTC appears to have all but abandoned the RPG line.
