I needed a more powerful intellect devourer for the derelict starship Warden Beyond The Barrier Peaks, so here it is:
"Arousian" is a reference to the apparently classic bad 1950s scifi b-movie The Brain From Planet Arous. (I didn't want anyone to think it had anything to do with the verb "arouse".)
