Colour me unimpressed. Flat bland colour scheme and a dull pose. The heads are all stuck out in straight lines. I relaize this may have been because of the scuplting problems a piece like this represents but I know I won't go out of my way to find this.

I find it very impressive. I don't play whatever game it is this is used for, but I still think that's a beautiful piece. The coloring is nicely subtle, I think, since anything more vivid would be garish. However, the white head seems a little too off-color, throwing it out of whack for me. Also, if this dragon is supposed to be some sort of incarnation of the Four Horsemen, why are there five heads?

All in all though, this is the sort of thing I'd love to bring out during my D&D game just to see the looks of horror on the faces of my players.

The story behind it has the sorcerer creating it combining the essences of the 4 horseman into the dragon. He's the 5th head, representing "control." (I'm not 100% clear on the exact story).

Of course, the original Mage Knight 4 horseman figures are quite rare. The originals usually go for more than $1,000 when they are seen on eBay. There were only 5 or 6 of each (there are later versions that are more common).

The beast of the apocalypse is supposed to have something like seven heads and ten horns, this one has five heads and twenty-seven horns (not counting spine spikes).

The four horsemen are death, plague, war, and famine. The green head could be plague (it has warts). The white one could be death (it's skull-colored). The pale blue one with black spikey horns could be famine (it looks emaciated). The war would get two heads (the red and blue ones) but they don't seem to be fighting each others.

I don't think it's literally supposed to be something from Revelations, nor anything associated with the Four Horsemen. 'Apocolpyse' just means 'Bad M*f*' here, like it usually does. It's pretty obviously D&D's Tiamat.

Neat! When does this come out and how much of a dent will it put into my wallet?

Now I just need to get my Blarog set for the Hex-Battle game...
