WizKids has flat plastic miniatures. They look really cool and I’d never heard of them.

Saw them at my FLGS.

Pathfinder has been doing pawns for it's game for a while, it's good to see these coming to D&D. I wonder if PF/SF will switch over to these in the near future? I like they're on clear plastic a lot more, though I wish they'd come out before I filled my house with the 3D versions.

Some of the 2D flat minis from other companies have been a thin, bendy plastic . . . . these are thicker and rigid, like acrylic tokens. Not sure which is better, that's probably subjective.

Here's an unboxing from Nerd Immersion. The first pack he opens, the paint peels off the minis, but the other three are fine, he speculates that perhaps it was a production error . . .

I see them on a few sites for $14.00. Looks like something that would be a good Christmas gift. Also looks like you get around 15 medium sizes and a large token. Should be good to travel to say a convention or something.
