It's a pit trap. A couple miles wide, a mile deep, and half a mile wide. Some might call this a Canyon, but what do they know? It's just a poorly designed pit trap.

I would expect a huge trap of interconnected deadly parts, not a single pit...

WLT: World's Largest Tavern

A campaign setting in the ubiquitous place for PC's to meet. 150 stories high. Lose a PC? Just go back to ground level and recruit a new one.

Well, I guess it just sounds like a big above ground dungeon, afterall.

Sounds a lot like the World Serpent Inn, a nifty alternate Transitive Plane from the Manual of the Planes web enhancement.
It's basically a Inn that connects to different planes. Theres a common room thats pretty safe, but the twisting maze of closets, bedrooms and storerooms in the back corridors can any number of nasty monsters.

I do enjoy the thought of the World's Largest Party (as in, get together and drink party, not get together, kill monsters and drink party). It would be interesting to see an adventure set up with social challenges in mind.

I'd see a World's Largest Kingdom to place the WLD and WLC in. Then they could do a World's Largest Castle. The Castle is a large dungeon in itself as it is under a curse and dispellsing that curse is a campaign itself. Once the curse is dispelled by the adventurers, it becomes the Capital of the WLK.

World's Largest Gamer.

He's 900 pounds.
He washes himself with a hose and rag on a stick.
And you have to play at his place because ain't no one gonna risk their car suspension offering him a ride.

Think Pearl from Blade.
