Wondrous items for spontaneous casters -- feedback requested

Nagol

Unimportant
G'day Folks,

I've bult a couple of items to augment spontaneous casting capability and like to get some feedback as to appropriateness/brokenness.

Crystal of Arcane Knowledge

A crystal of Arcane Knowledge has a capacity to hold the understanding of arcane spells. A crystal has a set capacity. More valuable crystals can hold different spells. Less valuable crystals hold a specific spell.

Using a crystal requires attunement. A caster can be attuned to only one crystal at a time and the process takes 24 hours. Attunement is automatic – the crystal needs to be carried on the person for the period. Only one person can be attuned to a crystal at a time. Attunement is lost if the crystal is lost for more than 24 hours or if the spells contained within are changed.

While a crystal is attuned and carried, the caster gains its benefit. A spontaneous caster can treat spells held in the crystal as known spells for the purposes of casting A spell book caster can treat the spells contained within as if they were they affected by the Spell Mastery feat.

The crystal only acts as a knowledge repository. The possessor must still meet any and all casting requirements to cast the spell including available spell slot, providing all spell components, having access to that spell on their class spell list, the spell must be from an accessible school, have the minimum casting stat, etc.

If the crystal can hold variable spells, they are placed in the crystal in a manner similar to a Ring of Spell Storing. The spell is cast, but no components are consumed to affix it in the crystal. The spell can be placed by any arcane caster capable of normally casting that spell. The spells remain until overwritten by new placements.

Specific spell crystals require access to that spell as part of their creation and cannot be overridden.

Moderate (Evocation); CL 7th; Craft Wondrous Item, Imbue with Spell Ability;
Price 750 * spell levels * spell levels for variable spell
500 * spell level * spell level for specific spell.

Haematite of Power

The haematite of power is for spontaneous casters as the pearl of power is for preparation casters. The crystal can store spontaneous arcane energy and be used to refresh expended spell slots.

To prepare the crystal, the a spontaneous caster sacrifices a spell slot as if he had cast a spell. This requires a standard action. The crystal holds that energy until the spontaneous caster needs it. The owner of the crystal can absorb stored energy with a standard action to refresh his casting capacity. There is no requirement that the donor and recipient be the same person.

Moderate (Evocation); CL 2*spell level; Craft Wondrous Item; Price 750 * spell level * spell level

The haemitite is based on the pearls of power. The pearls appear to work for prepared casters as it returns a previously cast spell.

I am unfamiliar with the Memento Magica, where is it from?

After borrowing a copy of MIC, the haemetite is quite similar to the Memento Magica at half the price.

I'll think about the pricing a bit. I'm unsure why the class that normally gets more slots per day would pay a higher price to replenish a slot than the alternative arcane class. I priced the haemetite below the pearl because a Sorcerer typically get 133% -- 150% more slots per day than the Wizard so replenishing a slot should have comparatively less value.
