Wookie and SW images

My group is going to play a game of Star Wars (d6) this week, and I've said I'm going to play a wookie (not a first mate).

I remember seeing in some SW RPG book, an image of a group of adventurers with a wookie wearing a bandana on his head and goggles on his eyes. But I can't remember if that image is in the d6 book or the d20 book (or something else entirely). Since I don't have either book, myself, I can't look it up. Anyone have an idea?

Also, where on the Web is a good spot to find non-movie images for use in a Star Wars game? I've checked the WotC site, but they don't have galleries for SW like they do D&D.

I'm pretty certain that image is in the 2nd edition (non-revised) D6 book.
For online images I would recommend going to the various Star Wars computer game sites and checking out their concept art galleries. I have gotten quite a few good,original, images from them.

It's not the pic you're after, but I find http://www.swagonline.net to be a great source for weird and wonderful Star Wars art. It's by and for roleplayers and the quality is variable to say the least, but there's a LOAD of stuff there. They used to even have a messageboard where you could post requests to be filled free of charge by the artists in the community (the Gungan Dark Sider on the front page is from a request of mine!), and while that part of it has been nonfunctional for a very long time, there seems to be some hope that it will return in future.

Gneech has got it right... It's the picture of a huge wookiee and two human commandos sneaking through a sewer of some sort. If I remember right, there's some sort of monstrous, fanged and clawed creature looming the shadows behind them.

Great picture... and one of my favorites from a version of the SW RPG with often mediocre or sworse artwork.

I don't know the address off the top of my head, but Google "wookieepedia" and you'll find a great SW wiki with lots and lots of pics.

My memory might be bad, but I think there is a wookie like that in the Heroes Guide also.

Thanks much, for the info and pointers, guys. The GM has the 2nd edition book, and that's what we'll be using for play, so I can see it when we play.
