I made my first will save.
But then I went over to ebay to see what prices were on the used market and started thinking about how nice a shiny new shrink-wrapped copy of my own would be, especially so the maps would be present, neat, and intact.
So now a copy of WLD is on its way.
But sheesh, going from level 1 to 20 in the same dungeon?
I'm too young for old school dungeon nostalgia, but too old for 20 levels of hacking.
I guess I might get around to running this thing some time though....

At current rate of play, I expect to be about 50 years old before we complete it. Still in region A, although nearly finished it now. So my advice to all is that unless you play every week, don't leave it too long before getting started!

Heh, I have a bookshelf full of D&D stuff and when a friend came for a visit some time ago the first time he glanced at the bookshelf he pointed at WLD and said "Whew, what kind of monster is this?"

Does make one wonder if the price of WLD a year after it came out will effect the price and sales of WLC when it does on sale. Will more hold off to pick it up later?

Bloody Oath!! I bought this monster a couple of weeks ago. GRRR. Should have held off. Aw well, I did pay 60 bucks for it, so, well, they got a bit of extra cash out of me. Worth every penny though. I hope lots of people buy this. I got an anouncement to make concerning the WLD in the next couple of weeks and the more people who have it the better.
