Note that chaining Na'aru in the basement and siphoning their holy light to power the magic of the Blood Knights was also Astalor's idea. He puts the Blood in Blood Elves.

How's everyone's season going so far? Been really enjoying delves on my Paladin. They seem very well tuned for DPS this time around. Progressing to tier 11 during Heroic week was a ton of fun.

Not a huge fan of Nightmare mode Prey - mostly doing it for coffer keys. The actual fights have been pretty easy and the kill something or die debuff is mostly just annoying. Still better than world quests for coffer keys though.

Time to around into Mythic Plus now that I have full set of Champion gear (258 in Ret / 256 in Holy). So far this has been one of the best starts to an expansion in a very long time for me. Really since Legion.

So far, definitely the best launch since Legion, I agree, although Dragonflight was also very good for me.

Was intending on maining Priest this season, but Shadow is so awful at grinding and delves that I swapped to Paladin. The fact that Blood Elf Paladin is so thematic for this expansion definitely helps, but I'm also really enjoying the changes they made to Holy.

I'm at 257 right now, and slowly doing some M-Plus with my brother's warrior and my son's DK. So far, done up to a +5, and they haven't been too hard. Going to try a +6 tonight probably, since that where Hero track gear starts dropping.

I'm enjoying Nightmare Delves simply because of how much Mark of Predation forces you to pay attention and really be present; having Predation proc while being ambushed and have to kill something quickly and also fighting a rare has gotten me a few times. I like having the overworld be a threat for a little while!

And if you haven't finished the campaign quest for this week, it's very worth it. Interesting changes, and quite a bit of elven lore.

Ooh, I didn't realize he was an existing character. That this is a pattern is definitely another argument in favor of him being a Dreadlord.

Other than the Grudge Pit, which loves to stick multiple nemesis groups on top of each other and way too near the entrance, I've liked most of the delves. The one with the lights and mirrors puzzle was a new fun twist. And the Silvermoon university one was well done.

Yeah, we've discovered that you basically have to do Nightmare Prey only rather than as a spice atop other questing, because it's so disruptive. We found going to the prey quest area and just grabbing traps and dealing with ambushes, rather than doing activities, was the fastest way to do it. It'll be a lot more fun once we're at a higher gear level, though. (My wife and I are both around ilevel 250.)
