World's Largest Dungeon, 800-1000 pages, US$99.95, 1 million words, 100 maps

Although it sounds very kewl, i fear that it will feel rushed and filled at random. I really hope that it's good, i'm just not getting my hopes up...

This is one of those books that i'll buy anyway, i'll just have to make sure that as soon as i have it, i read it and post a review. That way people know, at least from my point of view, whether it's worth buying or not...

Any company that would take the bold step to do something like this has my support (both moral and financial).

Will it be what every gamer wants? Of course not. Nothing is.

But I love the concept.

It's what Undermountain could (and should) be.
ditto.

I'm really hoping I can scrounge up enough $$ for this product.

No, it is not that they are not eating each other, we just are not told what they are doing in the room.
Maybe they are eating each other. The vermin that the PCs encounter is, well, the vermin that the PCs encounter (the rest having been eaten). They attack the PCs because a PC is better eating than a beetle, even if you are a scorption. There's the plausible explanation.

I should remind everyone of the Rules of The Game:

1. The DM is always right
2. When the DM is wrong, please see rule #1. (I think someone got this off a coffee mug somewhere).
3. Never spilt up the party

And now for the actual relevant rule:

4. Don't question dungeon ecology

Too bad you don't like TLG or want a copy of Barakus. If you did, and emailed Steve, he would give you a deal equal to or better than Amazon, after their shipping is added. But it would require buying two or more of their books, including Necromancer stuff they have and are putting out, such as Vindication. Or their special Kubla Con module, etc...

I have nothing against TLG or NG... I just don't need Path of the Magi or the other books mentioned. I ordered Bonegarden on Amazon as well... I'd rather get 30% off one book that I really want (with free shipping) than pay full price just to get a second book I'm not really interested in free. Plus, once books like TMoAET and World's Largest Dungeon are on Amazon, I can send it through the Share the Love list and it might encourage other people to buy who are on the edge about buying.

But yeah, I wish NG would take their older adventures and put them in a 3.5 Anthology like AEG did. I'd scoop it up in a second, since I passed on the adventures initially... :D

Mmmmh... with a million of words to read, it may take some months before we hear from you again... Put please! Don't make a 100.000 words review!! :p

To be honest, it's about time a decent dungeon crawl came out. I'm sick to death of the city/political/societal adventures that have polluted and plugged up the market lately.

It's called DUNGEONS and Dragons people, not "Politics and Dragons".
