World's Largest Dungeon

We got it in the mail, and wow this thing's huge. I read it came with a set of dice and a couple of minis, but if that's the case then the fedex guy stole em. hehe

I am so looking forward to playing this, and I'm pretty sure we have a DM all set up to run it. This thing is bigger than any school textbook I ever had in school, and the bundle of maps is as thick as return to the temple of elemental evil's entire module book.

See this is the thing that's wonderful about the D20 system--there's a product for everybody, all with the same ruleset.

I'd rather die than play in a massive dungeon crawl, and there are plenty of products out there for my style of play. You love dungeon crawls, and there's something for you too.

Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside, it does.:)

While I would love to own this one day i doubt I would ever run it as written. Far better, for my game at least, to break it up and run sections of it as seperate dungeons. My group likes dungeon crawls but i think this thing would tax them beyond endurance. :)

I love this dungeon. I've only read through the first few sections, but I listen to the folks over at rpgmp3.com go through it. My group has only gone through about a quarter of the first map. Don't know if we'll be able to make it all the way through or not, but we'll have fun trying.

don't get me wrong, our group is normally much more complex than a dungeon crawl. It's been a long while since done it. Plus, I'm always the DM and I'm gettig to play in this, so I could care less, Im just glad to get to play in it.

Ah, but would you go against the ancient and foul sorcery of the drow, using diplomacy and guile to play various evils off against one another in a desperate bid to survive? How about uncovering the rot at the core of an Elven garrison before it destroys a celestially-infused treant? :)

WLD isn't all dungeon crawling. :)

Nope. Never seen,or heard of, a copy that had anything more than a book and the maps. I hope free minis and dice wasn't a deciding factor in your purchase.

Personally, I find it intriguing, but we never play in dungeon crawls, and it would never be used for anything more that my personal reading. I can find other things that can be useful in game and be fun to read.

no, the dice and mini's werent needed, just would have been cool. We did however get the WLD and a PHB for 101 dollars, including shipping, from amazon though. It is sitting on my table and every time I see it I want to pick it up and read it, but no...I must resist.

I have to know though, is there a tarrasque?
