A similar discussion is going on at the WotC message boards (when they come back up).

I am a big proponent of the 7th stat, rather than making it a dump stat, I suggest that - if you make a save vs the one power, rather than using Con, Wis, or Dex, you use the Power Score modifier instead. Since saves are bad already, this will make people think twice before dumping a 7 into "Power Score."

I will try to keep up with this and incidentially - I have another first draft of the same thing on my computer right now. I promised to look it over when I get the chance.
