[WoT] Call for Players, Message Board Game

Since it seems like most of you want to start at first level, and early in the series -- and because it's less work for me -- I'm going to start out with a short prologue to get the characters together, then I'll run the adventure in the rulebook, looking to running through Prophecies of the Dragon eventually.

Hi Dave, I submitted my character, but I was wondering how much cash we get for gear. I took my free Borderlander stuff, and did some deficit spending on a sword and a dagger, but I'd like to know how much I have left to spend, please. Thanks!

I'm going to assume you have perfectly average rolls (even though this is actually impossible, all d4s result in 2.5; d6s in 3.5) for starting money to spend on equipment, so

Armsman... 125 mk
Initiate... 75 mk
Noble... 175 mk
Wanderer... 100 mk (sorry about that 10 mk typo)
Wilder... 75 mk
Woodsman... 100 mk

Can I reserve this spot (I was Jeorom in Silverhawks game)? If so I'll got my charater posted soon. I'm not sure what to be at the moment but I am leaning towards Woodsman/Thief-taker, any objections, also if there is a type of character you want I'll be it.

To make a few things very, very clear...

***There are no reserved slots in this game, except for the people who were going to be in Silverhawk's game.***

If you were in Silverhawk's game, you don't need to make a 'reservation' post; just mention who you played at the beginning of your character submission. If you were not in Silverhawk's game, you don't need to make a 'reservation' post; it won't do any good and may hurt your chances.

The order in which character submissions appear is unimportant. All submissions that show up before 2/20/2002 will be reviewed.

Between 2/20/2002 (next Wednesday) and 2/25/2002 (a week from Monday), I will look over the character proposals and select 5-8 players.

The number of players will depend on how many people from Silverhawk's game want to play, and the quality -- in my opinion -- of the other character submissions.
