In an earlier post, you said you may allow shields to stack with class defense bonuses. Nobles also start with Shield proficiency. If you do allow shields to stack with class bonuses then I have a slight change to make to my character, Lord Tomas Menorian.
His studded leather has the same armor bonus (+3) as his class bonus (+3). I'd like to cash in his studded leather and just have Tomas start play with an extra 25 mk in his pocket.
Studded leather doesn't really fit the image I have of a Noble. It doesn't change his AC (assuming shields stack). And it would have him starting with 45 mk to use as spending cash...in the noble fashion. It would help him afford the best rooms and such.
Go ahead.
