Hey guys!
As we all know Wotc's WebCB doesn't allow for house ruling or using powers/feats/items/anything from third party publishers. I wonder if that can be changed. Or at least is there a way to add that stuff later in an different program without using a pencil.
I'm coming here because I believe the ven diagram of gamers and coders and problem solvers is practically a circle. I did some searching on these forums but couldn't find anything so forgive if this post has already lived a full and prosperous life. If that is case please to be linking me. So what do we think?
One thought I had was to take the *.dnd4e file and dump it into File Maker pro. Isn't the *.dnd4e file essentially an *.xml file? If that's the case FMP will take it no problem. Only how to convert it to *.xml? could it be as easy as just changing the file extension?
Are there other programs out there that will allow this? I doubt this is in line with WoTC's EULA, but of course this is just a thought experiment and there won't be any money made off this, so lets just leave lawyers out of it.
I can't wait to see what we come up with!
