WOTC creates Golden Girls RPG! freaking awesome!

I would like to see the Golden Girls as the "Iconic 4" party.

Rose/Betty White -- low INT viking fighter.
Dorothy/Bea Arthur -- low CHA (ugly) wizard aka Mialee or the iconic loremaster
Sophia/Estelle Getty -- grumpy but wise old cleric
Blanche/Rue McClanahan -- slutty rogue/bard

I’m going to commission a Boris Vallejo-esque cover of this concept from the next art student unfortunate enough to cross my path.

Actually, Bea Arthur and Betty White are older than Estelle Getty (By 3 months and 1 year respectively). Why she was cast as Bea's mom was always a mystery? Rue McClanahan is 10 years younger than the lot of them.

I think because of Night Court's experiences with really old actors. They had that one women in her late 70s, she died, then they had another, and she died.

So by getting a women who was in her early 60s and using makeup to make her look older made more sense.

Also easier to do flashbacks

I am intentionally necroing this thread to say that yes, I still want a Golden Girls TRPG. I don't want it to be campaign-based, but I'd like a convention game one-shot type RPG book with some premade scenarios.
