WoTC Customer Service - now I'm ticked

Server Error when I try to access mine. Clearly some kind of systemic problem at the mo.

I just received a response from WoTC and they want to give me a new password.

This is confusing - I don't need a new password, I can login just fine - I just need to update my billing address.

UPDATE: I just received an email - they are going to update my billing address and not reset my password.

I must say, I am pleasantly surprised that this is being handled on Thanksgiving day.

I also want to thank mudbunny for his help - it is appreciated.

I went in and changed all of my billing information a couple of weeks ago. I also had the "a" listed as my address at that time. It now shows the correct address.

Y'all might just want to check to see if a WotC new hire named "Will Ryker" has been sitting on anyone's keyboard and doin' a little ass-typing.

I attempted to correct my billing address info - but I keep getting an error and now it says my nickname already exists - Of course it already exists, I've had it since I first registered on the stupid WoTC site.

I received an email from CS letting me know that they dug into the "problem" and found that my subscription was canceled because it failed to auto renew. I already knew this.

Apparently the customer service people are completely missing the point my problem isn't that the subscription didn't auto renew, the problem is that I can't update my billing address.

I am back to being ticked off.

I think that I replied to you on the WotC forums with the path to take to get at the WotC help system.

I have also passed your problems on via my contacts with WotC. This is not the first I have heard of this happening over the past day or two, and I am *not* happy with this.

Please let me know if you have any problems.

Hey can you do me a favor? Can you look into me getting temp banned every other day? Tell the ORCs to go pick on someone else for awhile. Until they get their act cleaned up I'm not subscribing to DDi. Its sad really because they finally got their VT coming out and that would lock me in for a year...

I have no influence whatsoever with how ORCs interpret the CoC.

If you don't want them to come down on you and give you a temporary ban, don't violate the CoC.
