I've been Playing/Gming d20 since it arrived, and have exactly 7 books.
I have the 3.0 Core Books
The Witche's Handbook
that's all I use as a gamemaster when I dm. Player's are only allowed the PHB and the Witches Handbook.
I also own Traveller T20, Star Wars d20 (the revised) and Starships of the Galaxy.
It's all I need to run a Sci-Fi campaign or fantasy in 7 books.
