I remember a question coming up early 2005 that said how much did you spend in 2004. So it made me go back an check my records, as of the end of 2004 I have 250+ pdf products.

Purchased books
Playtest copy
Freebie (because a large number of pdf publisher give product away.

I guess within the last month I could be considered to be in the 17-20 range. But I'm expecting a few more because a publisher I playtest for has agreed to give me a pdf of the paper books I've tested.

I would say at this point 90% of my gaming budget goes to pdfs.

I'd say yes since it does ask about d20 and not the older editions.

Right, but it does ask for WotC/d20. The older stuff is available from WotC so I assumed that was included.

If not, then I guestimate having between 20 and 30 pdf's directly related to d20/3rd edition stuff.

I have almost 100 pdfs that I've paid for
Quite a few more freebies from various places (rpgnow, wotc, drivethru, ...)
Almost all the ones I've bought were purchased at RpgNow
Though I bought a few of Monte's books from WhiteWolf once he switched over
No purchases from DriveThru yet, but now that DRM is gone that will likely change soon

Mark, for PURCHASED .pdfs I have about 15 (which is my poll answer), but as others here mentioned, I have lots more free ones especially from the WOTC, and a few freebies from Sword & Sorcery and a few others. The total is probably 100-125 or so.

I *really, really* prefer print products. Even for the pdf stuff I like- notably including CMG and SKR Games- I would very strongly prefer print products, and would pay more for them if they were an option. Maybe I am just 'old school', but there is a visceral enjoyment to the tactile sensation of reading a real book instead of on-screen. I suppose I could just print them all out hardcopy, but that is kind of a pain, and the format is a bit clunky versus a nice perfect-bound print product. (I realize this is not exactly what you were asking, but just fyi..!)

I have hordes....

If there is a free pdf out there, I have probably downloaded it. I also have picked up several items in pdf format where I did not think I would want/need the full item in hardcover (such as Diamond Throne, Blue Rose, and a few others, though I changed my mind on a few after seeing the pdf).

Since I work as an editor of late, reading things On Screen is no big deal to me, as long as I am wearing my computer glasses (as opposed to my non-computer glasses). Though I generally prefer physcial books (as my old art history professor said, it's kinda hard to curl up in bed at night with your hard drive), I see many uses for pdfs -- short material that otherwise does not fit in a book, a small company that can afford to come up with the volume, but not the printing costs, etc.

So, yeah, I have well over 100 pdfs at the moment, and that's just the D20 stuff ;)

I have over a hundred PDFs, maybe closer to two hundred, but they are scattered across several archive disks so I dont have an exact number. I run a D20 modern game from time to time and find top notch support (nod to Ronin Arts) in PDF format out there.
