Keith Baker, Nicolas Logue, C.A. Suleiman--all good authors. I don't know James Desborough so undoubtedly he'll post here (and maybe have written something I've enjoyed).

I hope that WotC doesn't feel obligated to keep all of the DDO elements in Stormreach. This could be a great product. Thanks for the update, takasi.

I'm more interested in the Behind the Scenes books myself, actually. 96 pages each, presumably describing their designer notes for how and why they created the classes, races, monster system, etc the way they did. At least that is what I am hoping it is. If it is just a couple books with suggestions on how to create your own within the system it would still be interesting, but I would probably pass on it. I can already do that, but knowing the logic that devised the system might give interesting and new insights on how to make use of it. :)

I'm interested in it as well. The Behind the Curtain sidebars are my favorite parts of the DMG and Manual of the Planes.

Where the hell is Complete Warrior 2 and a Forgotten Realms regional book or non-adventure, non-coffee table book!?

What freaking gives!?

I know Complete Warrior 2 (or whatever it'll be called) will eventually come out...sometime in 2008.

But I am concerned about Forgotten Realms. Are they trying to starve the campaign setting purposely? A friend of mine pointed out that it seems most of WotC's budgeting is going more and more into Eberron than Forgotten Realms. It's getting ridiculous considering we haven't had a solid Forgotten Realms book since Dragons of Faerun! (adventure books and coffee table books don't count...neither does Expedition to Undermountain, another adventure book :\ )

Before you gather up the torches and pitchforks, bear in mind that this is just information gleaned from Amazon's site, not WotC's official release catalog. If the FR release schedule does turn out to be that light, though, by all means, have fun storming the castle!

Back on topic, though, while a book about Stormreach isn't really at the top of my list (that honor goes to a book on Darguun/Dhakaan), it might help to give me a jumping point for expeditions into Xen'Drik.
