Just some guy
On May 6, Wotc said it would release SRD 5.2. It's the closest thing we have to an "edition" name from WotC, so why don't we just call it 5.2 and rest?
They also called the 2014 5e SRD "5.1", which no-one ever called it. There isn't a link between SRD numbering and what they are calling an edition. On May 6, Wotc said it would release SRD 5.2. It's the closest thing we have to an "edition" name from WotC, so why don't we just call it 5.2 and rest?
Yeah, 5.75 would get awkward when they put out the 5.4 SRD in the 40s.I don't mind this. I prefer 5.24 or 5e24 denoting the changes by year - which if you want to include Tasha's as it's own set of hefty changes is useful. I just think that calling it 5.5 or 5.75 is shortsighted.
