WOTC Product List

Does anyone else think that this Incarnum thing is kind of out of left field? It just doesn't feel like something WotC put out. It's not tied to a campaign world or part of any of the previous product lines like the Enviromental series. Normally there has been a larger theme associated with WotC releases.

Not saying it won't be interesting (have no clue at this point) but just pointing out how it seems a little...odd.

That's okay with me.

I don't think Weapons of Legacy has a lot of 'connected' ness to it either but I am looking forward to it.

I'm curious to see where the Heroes of line is going.

I'm also wondering if we're going to get another Monster Manual/Fiend Folio this year.

Plus I want to see a big old Undermountain boxed set announced for next year based on the various boxed sets that have/are coming out.

I'm really hoping Wizards announces another monster line book -- it's hard to believe they wouldn't think there are good subjects for one after "Lords of Madness." Likewise, I'd like to see another few books in the environment series.

And the "connectedness" issue is why I'm a little skeptical about "Magic of Incarnum" myself, although it'd be interesting to see more information about where souls come from in the core cosmology.

Fortunately for my budget, the only three WotC books I intend to get are DMG2, Lords of Madness, and Waterdeep. The rest of their product line for this year doesn't hold any interest to me.

That leaves a lot of money for DDM, and I may finally be able to complete all the sets (except for Harbinger - I'd never pay $50 for a miniature, collectable or not).
