I'm kind of wondering why the BOED would be a mature title myself... maybe it involves things that the good guys do to the bad guys, such as killing.
Honestly, doesn't seem to make much sense.

I wonder what the Menace Manual might be about? "Modern" places, people (in a generic/fictional sense) and events of crisis? A kind of Monster Manual? Something else entirely?

I imagine it'll come in a box and nice packaging ideal for a...err..gift. I don't think it's supposed to be a "deal".

If the information is correct, then it would be a smart move on Wizards' part.

Now all we need is a book for Wizards/Sorcerer/Cleric/Paladin/Ranger/Bard, i.e., spellcasters.
