WotC Setting Search Runner ups

Since I consider FR to be an utterly forgettable vanilla setting that exemplifies everything I hate about generic high fantasy, I'm all for it.

Eberron was pretty awesome and a very good match for the 4e ruleset. And from what I read about the runner-ups, they were also quite unique and interesting.

Some years ago, I learned that the setting entry I developed with Jason Bulmahn made it into about the top 50 or so. It was the one-page write-up that everyone entering the contest created. We both lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the time and gamed together regularly.

Neither of us ever took the idea too far. I ran a few games set in the basic world of the game, but that's it. I think I have the original one-page entry buried somewhere in my hard drive.

On the up-side, Jason told me a while back that a few of the core conceits of our entry made their way into Golarion for the Pathfinder game, though somewhat modified. So that's something, I suppose. :-)

Eight years, surely that must be something of a record for necromancy on these boards?

don't make me laugh. not even close.
edit: as for the topic i sent multiple one pages...okay. they were all the same thing. reprint OD&D(1974) submissions. :D
