This isn't precisely new information since we already had the sheet from DDXP.

Can someone who is color blind look at the mage spells 10-16 which is in color and just let us know?

Ummm - since that has black and red mage spells but no green mage spells... do you think that is going to help? :)

FWIW colour blindness isn't an issue here because it clearly labels each as daily * or encounter* or whatever. It would be bad if colour were the ONLY differentiation between two things, but as an additional differentiator it is fine.

Cheers

I think I was expecting the green to be the same as that used for the Grick headers in the same picture...

That said, it was partially a rhetorical 'The words are in white against a color background and all are clearly labeled as encounter or daily... I think we're safe here, folks'

Death Cab for Cutie is the worst! For shame, Dave! Have you no decency?? You should be listening to Blind Guardian, as I am at this moment!

Wait, hold on!!!! Let me edit that last part!

That's not nice! I love Death Cab! In fact, I'm listening to Transatlantism right now!

*fights against all who say Death Cab is emo. It's nostalgic indie/dream pop!*

In other news, I love colors in general, color codes are good!

Well, I'm not colorblind: but a quick run through Vischeck suggests that the Red spell headers and Green monster headers will be an issue for the colorblind, alas.

But I agree: it's clearly labeled, so the color blind will be missing an extra cue, not missing out.

Cool site.

Thinking about it - it actually works fine. You only get at-wills at level 1 and never need to worry about them again really... so it's really the red encounter and black dailys, and those show fine, color blind or no.

The most common usage is actually in reference to neuronal action potentials. There is a period after one fires in which it is impossible for second to fire. This varies from neuron to neuron and is also regulated by various factors, both intracellularly and intercellularly.
Since you're science-geeking, allow me as well since I teach this stuff.

There's actually an ABSOLUTE refractory period during which a neuron will not fire again and then a RELATIVE refractory period during which it can but is more difficult to excite to the point of an action potential. During the depolarization and repolarization phases (when its electrical charge reverses massively and then comes back down) a neuron normally cannot fire again. The polarity doesn't just come down to baseline (resting potential) immediately, but rather it undershoots during the hyperpolarization phase (when it is even more polarized than normal). During that phase it can fire but you need additional excitation to overcome that additional hyperpolarization.

I think the parallels for the sexual refractory period are self-evident. :)
