my old dm created the imaginative town of birdgetown for a campaign once we thought it would be because of the huge bridges that connected the 2 halves but nope aparently there was another reason that would be revealed during the campaign...we never did descover the reason, the dm forgot about the town

Don't you understand how "cool" names like "Emerald Frost" are? Next thing you know, you'll be questioning why Dryads are now trees with boobs...

You probably think people actually had fun playing D&D years ago, and weren't just waiting around for WOTC to tell us how uncool and unfun the game always was.
