WotC_Trevor is looking for questions for Rule of Three

Why have the online magazines not been honed in focus to fill the holes brought in by Essentials? For example, support for magic items with the new rariety system. Support for Themes, introduced in Dark Sun many months ago. Monstrous support for Epic Play, etc...

Is there anything WoTC can learn from creating adventure paths from Paizo? For some reason, the staff of Paizo was able to do three full ones under the D&D license, supporting them in Dragon with extra bits, and continued their success into a company. WoTC has done one in Dragon and essentially floundered since then on low level play.

Who decides what goes behind the paywall? Some things like Art galleries seem that they would be great marketing tools and are then thrown behind the paywall.

While its great to see the D&D site note that passing of various figures that had a hand in the history of the game, why doesn't WoTC take these opportunities to throw more work their way? For example, when the Red Box game out, there was one Larry Elmore cover. Since then? Not so much. WoTC has REAL opportunities to bring these historicaly important artists to the spotlight on at least some occassions.

Will the core original Player's Handbook be reprinted with all of the changes (it's well past errata now to actual game rule changes) incorporated into it? Post it notes and writing over the material only goes so far.

Amazon recently did an ad supported Kindle and lowered the price of the product. Any chance WoTC will do a free online character generator that's ad supported?

Here's some questions I'd love if were passed on:

What does the new roll-up of Dragon and Dungeon articles under development mean for new submissions? Especially from non-staff.

Is there an plan to retire or update obsolete feats or powers? (Example: Scion of the Gods, Tiefling racial feat from FRPG: +1 feat bonus to Fort & Will vs Improved Defenses from the Essentials books.)

Are there any plans for a new setting?

Has there been any consideration to expanding existing settings? For example, the game has matured a lot since Forgotten Realms came out. FR-specific feats and prestige classes for new classes & races would be welcome.

When should we expect to see magic item rarity errata updates for existing products? How about additional common items?

Optional rules like Inherent bonuses/Alternate Rewards opened up a lot of campaign styles to run while still keeping the mechanical assumptions true so the game still runs the same. Can we expect any more widening optional rules like that in the future? Any under development/play testing?

What's the plan for D&D roleplaying (not the whole brand) for the next year or two? There's a lot of confusion in various forums on the direction and we all want our favorite hobby to thrive.

Thanks!

4. Several developers have discussed the glut of feats. There are numerous feats that have been completed obsoleted by later options. Are there any plans to remove these feats from the compendium/builder? If not, might they be marked so that new players do not fall into, "traps" when perusing the giant list of options?

Would it work for a new keyword (such as "deprecated"?) to be added to the lexicon; and for that keyword to be added to the text of obsoleted feats; and for the online Compendium and Character Builders to be given the capability of searching for anything lacking a specified search string, such as the new keyword?

Are there plans to support the DDI assassin, aside from this month's article on ki focuses? Since the original article not much has been done and Heroes of Shadow seems not to help.

Are there any game elements that have been specifically abandoned (ie: no further development, no new powers, feats, etc.), and if so which?

(I'm assuming none, but I could be wrong and from some comments I've seen I think that it would be useful to clarify the point.)

1. Any plans on a new DMG? What sort of content would potentially be included?

2. Any plans for a "Big Book of Skill Challenges"? (Related to question 1, I guess.)

3. What about another Dungeon Delve book?

And, building on my own previous post:
If it were possible to include a "deprecated" (or whatever other word works for that) keyword for feats that had been superseded by newer ones, would it also be possible for the online Character Builder to be programmed to provide a popup (or other kind of) query whenever an existing PC is Leveled up, still possessing such a down-rev feat:
We see that you have the "XXXX original unwonderful feat." Please be advised that a newer feat, "YYYY newer magnificent feat," has replaced that earlier feat in most users' characters. Would you like to retrain this old feat to the newer one now?

1. When will we see Dragonlance return, both in novels and games?

2. Will we see the return of some psionic races such as the dromites, maenads, and xeph?

3. Will incarnum make a return in 4e, or have other classes "killed incarnum and taken its stuff?"

4. Will we see a D&D Modern?

I second this!

And as part of the question, are daily magic item power limits officially in or out?
