Why have the online magazines not been honed in focus to fill the holes brought in by Essentials? For example, support for magic items with the new rariety system. Support for Themes, introduced in Dark Sun many months ago. Monstrous support for Epic Play, etc...
Is there anything WoTC can learn from creating adventure paths from Paizo? For some reason, the staff of Paizo was able to do three full ones under the D&D license, supporting them in Dragon with extra bits, and continued their success into a company. WoTC has done one in Dragon and essentially floundered since then on low level play.
Who decides what goes behind the paywall? Some things like Art galleries seem that they would be great marketing tools and are then thrown behind the paywall.
While its great to see the D&D site note that passing of various figures that had a hand in the history of the game, why doesn't WoTC take these opportunities to throw more work their way? For example, when the Red Box game out, there was one Larry Elmore cover. Since then? Not so much. WoTC has REAL opportunities to bring these historicaly important artists to the spotlight on at least some occassions.
Will the core original Player's Handbook be reprinted with all of the changes (it's well past errata now to actual game rule changes) incorporated into it? Post it notes and writing over the material only goes so far.
Amazon recently did an ad supported Kindle and lowered the price of the product. Any chance WoTC will do a free online character generator that's ad supported?
