As far as I know almost every creative responsible for any version of DnD no longer works there.

I'm not speculating any upcoming troubles, but I do find things a bit poor over there in terms of their ability to claim anything but pure legal ownership over the game. At this point all they can say is they bought it. Or rather, people who used to work for them bought it and they got it in a package deal when they bought the company from those people...

There's really no one left who has any emotional connection to it - so layoffs and budget cuts to favor other products would be no suprise; even if things are otherwise doing good for Hasbro.
