Would old 1st Ed adventures sell if remade as 3e books?

Just perusing the various sites that list old D&D (basic, expert, etc.) and AD&D 1st edition modules. Anyone think that 3rd edition versions of these would sell very well or at all?
White Plume Mountain, Slavers series, Tomb of Horrors, Lost Cavers of Tsojcanth, Against the Giants, etc.

Not just 3e conversions, but spiced up and tweaked a bit, to make them a bit more current, some of the old art and some new.

I think I'd probably buy some...

I'd buy a good 3e remake of I3-I5 or D1-3.

Alas, I feel White Plume Mountain set a bad precedent for dungeon design.

What cracks me up is the rpgnow pricing on these pdfs. Cripes...$5 bucks...period. Huge boxed set or 20 page module....$5.00.
Sheesh.

Some of them would sell. I mean if they could do some of the classics like Ravenloft, Tomb of Horrors and The Giants/Underdark series, I bet that would get some takers.

I think that if they updated White Plume Mountain to 3.5 stats with Ed from Skeleton Game Keys doing the maps with some great art in a 48 page version, I'd pay $14.99 for that. I think that the old adventures should be updated as they are part of our history and given the print runs of WoTC, they give gamers more 'connection' at conventions and other places they meet. Part of the 'hive mind' so to speak.

No thought involved, if I had the chance to pick up an updated copy of Raveloft my credit card would be out so fast I'd practically melt it. And nearly as fast for GDQ, Desert of Desolation, or the S series.

Dungeon Magazine also did a revisit. Dungeon 77 Ex Keraptis Cum Amore

which i like better than the 25th anniversary return to version.
