Would you buy a hardcopy Tome of Horrors 3.5?

Sorry, I'm a 'no'.
Don't be sorry. I hardly expected everyone would.

In fact, I probably wouldn't. I have the hardcover & the 3.5 update. As it is I rarely use it (IMO the conversions stick too close to the early editions and too often don't take 3E paradigms into account), but I like having it. However, $30-$40 on stuff I already have is just more than I'm willing to spend.

That being said, having it in hardcover combined with Pathfinder using monsters from it would give it much deserved attention and might move it to a sort of "optional core."

Oh, I know. It's just I hate sounding like I'm pouring cold water on an idea for a product a publisher might be considering (especially a product that is almost certainly a good idea), and especially on an idea for a product that others want made.

I printed out my copy of Tome of Horrors 3.5 on nice quality paper, plus printed out the cover full color on card and then had it bound :) So, I already have a hardcopy. I must admit, however, if it was released, I'd almost certainly pick up a copy nonetheless.

I probably would. Tome of Horrors was one of my favorite monster books ever. And if they come out with a version with color art, then that really makes it worth my while. :)

I was browsing the Paizo forums and noticed this thread in the Necromancer Games section about making a print copy of Tome of Horrors 3.5. Admittedly, it's been going on since May, but I just saw it and haven't heard anything about it.

Erik states they want to use the monsters in Pathfinder (and issue #1 uses them), so they have been discussing getting it in print with Clark, etc.

If they did this, would you buy a copy?

Without question.
