I think most of us wouldn't mind having the Rules Compendium coming out soon. But what I would really like is a book with all the rituals printed in one place. I hate having to rifle through 6 books looking for a ritual. I realize you can do this with the compendium but we don't usually have a computer at the game table. The same to a lesser extent goes for feats.

I also realize that such a book would become obsolete quickly but they could put out a new volume each time they have enough to do so. They could even have an index pointing to previous volumes in each one.

I would. Such things make finding stuff easy at the table. I remember in the last days of 3.5, a friend of mine lamented that there was no feat compendium to go along with the magic item and spell compendiums.

What annoyed me was that Spell Compendium didn't have all the spells in it. Spells from the PHB weren't there. I think it did have full spells lists though.

A book of Rituals, for sure.. but a compendium.. not.. want new ones... and everything related to them, like PP, feats, powers, itens, etc..

A feat book.. NO WAY. Such thing could not add nothing besides bugs, broken combos, etc..

Honestly, for just feats and rituals there's no advantage to a book over DDI. Even if it was new original material feats and rituals (powers and items too for that matter) are pretty much self-contained things that you can look up online and have all the info on just like the book. Now, the Monster Manual I like having since a stat block is far from being the whole story on a monster.

I would buy a book of rituals in a heartbeat, assuming it contained at least 50% new rituals. I would be quite happy to see it reprint all the existing rituals from other sources (PH, PH2, AP, Open Grave, MotP, etc). I would not buy a compendium that only reprinted existing rituals, without adding anything new.

I would also not buy a feat compendium. Feats are easily recorded on a character sheet and you rarely need to look them up in the middle of a session.

Rituals, on the other hand, are not easily recorded on a character sheet and may be frequently referenced during a session. Looking them up online can be a hassle.

I bought spell compendium and love the book for my 3.5 games. Nice ot have only two books to go through.

The problem with a feat compendium would be its being outdated before it is printed, with Dragon putting out feats every month. Rituals would be better, but for me, they are so low-priority that I would not need such a book.

So, overall, I would not be interested in purchasing either one of them.

Ritual .... Assuming it contains all the rituals from previous books, some new rituals, and good articles related to rituals, and perhaps new rules regarding components ...... Biiiiig YES.

Feats ..... Maybe.

I didn't vote. I'd definitely buy a Ritual Compendium (if it also contained a couple of new ones) and I definitely would _not_ buy a Feat Compendium (especially if it contained new feats!).
