I subscribe and have the full set of APs, but for inspiration and reading, rather than play. But I am a sucker for hard backs so would be all over something like the RotRL special edition in 5e. But I would sub to a5e version and would buy any modules they put out, for sure

No. I'd rather buy new stuff than remakes of old stuff. I'd certainly buy a new 5E AP from Paizo, though I don't imagine they'd make one.

If a company wants to convert a product the size of an AP to another system, I think the most customer-friendly approach is to release a conversion document, either a free PDF, or something cheap, like $5 cheap. A concise document that only provides the changes needed, in an easily-accessible format.

What's really needed is robust conversion rules and guidelines that work well. That provided, it should be straightforward for fans to provide conversion docs.

On the other hand, I could see a market for fully-converted versions of the best stuff, enhanced to cover the warmed-over aftertaste. E.g., Red Hand of Doom gets a lot of praise as a standout AP for 3e. It's probably worthy of a 5e "enhanced version."

I also think putting good Paizo APs into hardcover, errata-free, re-edited and cleaned up editions is worth doing just in terms of Pathfinder. I'm not a fan of softcover anything.

Yes. I've always wanted to run or play Kingmaker -- but I have no interest in Pathfinder and don't want to spend the energy converting the rules (if I'm going to put effort into prepping a game then I might as well make my own adventures).

A conversion? No.

If they were to start offering their paths in parallel 5e or PF versions, I'd switch over to the 5e version, but that's even more unlikely than them doing conversions.

(The truth is I get Paizo's APs to read rather than to play. So a 5e version would be slightly preferable because I'd find it easier to read, but there's no value in me having two versions, or even one with a translation guide.)

I have wondered if enterprising individuals will sell conversion notes on old Pathfinder APs on DMs Guild. It seems like it would be possible.

That would be a C&D waiting to happen. Stats in APs are Open but the APs themselves, Golarion, etc... are not. I mean, I guess someone could post a document titled, "5E Conversion notes for Quest Avenue: Elevation of the Symbol Rulers" but I think the contortions to get away with it would ultimately prove fatal. The only one that could do it would be paizo itself and frankly if they were going to they would create a special agreement with WotC -- and would have likely already done so.

Fans frequently post conversion notes (monster stat blocks, trap conversions, alternative treasure, etc.) without mentioning Golarion. Seems like it would be possible if you knew what you were doing.
