Would you GM for Kids at GenCon '06?

Yes! I really enjoy GMing for my young cousins.

A warning, though: keep Piratecat away from the children's room. He makes little girls cry.

I'd totally be up for doing this. Quartermoon, if I could get a game together of your girls and the Gelflings, that would be wicked. Given any choice, I'd probably run a superheroes type game for that sort of group. I think that every PC having a simple but broadly defined power would be perfect for kids to exercise their imagination without getting bogged down in the mechanics.

If you care to see my credentials on the matter, feel free to check out my .sig where you can read of the "adventures" of my three year old (now four already  ) daughter.

I'd love to do this. I started my first 3.0 campaign with four kids in the party. They all stayed around for at least two years. One is still in my group, and he just started high school.

I would love to do this. Sign me up!

By way of credentials, I'm a teacher, and I've run games in school and at summer camp, ages 9 and up. Also, I freelance for WOTC, so I could talk to them about getting some kind of Kids Track D&D going (along with your proposal for Peter). No guarantee they'll listen, but if we did all the work, they certainly might.

This is a great idea. If my email isn't in the profile, it's michiganteacher at-symbol hot mail etc. Please contact me and let's see what we can do.

I would do this, and I am sure there are many people on this board who would. I think the Gelflings are about that age (maybe a bit older) but I know they game.

Oh, and I already saw Rel posted here saying he would do it. He comes highly recommended from his daughter Samantha the Red. Just follow the link to Mommyville in his sig and you will see what I mean.

If a DM for kids time is alloted next year, I will help in any way I can.

I run for my son and a couple of friends (all about 12 years old) and have a blast. I played in a Blackmoor demo at GenCon '04 and the only survivor was the 12 year old daughter of one of the other players. She was smart, attentive, and downright funny.
