Of course.
After watching 4-6 in one sitting many times.
It doesn't matter if 1-3 arent as good.
There will be a day set aside to watch all 6 of them.

And for the record, 2 is worse than 1. :-D

Yeah, probably. Do you mean a theatrical marathon, or a DVD marathon, though? That makes a big difference. Also, a lot depends on what Episode III ends up being like...

First SW (now E-IV)? Sure, pretty much anytime

Second SW? Wow, even better!

Third SW? Emm, if I am in the right mood ... and can fast forward over all the stuff on Endor.

Fourth SW (E-I)? Can't drag me back to it.

Fifth SW (E-II)? No, no, no, no, no

Next SW? Probably not. It would take so much really great press and backing at this point to pull me back in that I sincerely doubt Lucas is capable of pulling it off.

My pet theory is that what went "wrong" with SW was The Empire Strikes Back. "How can that be?" you ask. Easy. It was so moving, so much a richer story than the first Star Wars that it raised the bar to an unprecedented level. Now if ESB had been more or less on par with RotJ, I don't think we would think the same way about SW, and keep hoping that Lucas will somehow get it right again.

Personal opinions only, expressed by ex- (pizza parlour) management ;)

I voted yes, but I would get up and leave after Empire Strikes Back. I kept hoping that the Death Star would target and destroy Endor, with the heros narrowly escaping, but alas, it was not meant to be. The Ewoks are a vile scourge that must be swept from the galaxy.
