The last campaign I ran had 2 straight guys, 1 gay guy, and 3 straight women.

My other game group is all guys.

I don't care about the gender composition of my groups, but I think the "all guy" campaign is at least in part guys getting away from wives.

Still, since some of them were in the mixed gender campaign as well, I don't think women are exactly barred, just not interested in that group.

I prefer to have a mix of male & female players, at least 2 of each is good IMO - current group is 2f (edit) 4m*, & one of the guys is kinda campy so it (edit: kinda) evens out. :)
I don't particularly enjoy the Teflon Billy style "guy's night let's go to a strip club after" type game, and I probably wouldn't be willing to play in or GM a group that had a 'no girls' rule**, obviously as a mild-mannered straight guy I wouldn't suit the Ottergame game either... I've played in a 2/3 female game with Randomling the GM and it was good fun, though a bit lacking in hack & slash action.

*Oops, I have 4 m not 3. :o

**I wouldn't be comfy in a group with a no gays/blacks/Asians rule (explicit or implicit) either. Obviously if I'm playing with my old friends from high school, they're all straight white males from the Celtic fringe of the UK, but an 'old friends' game is very different from a public-recruitment game.

Actually with the group now we've got probably the widest mix of nationalities and ethnicities I've gamed with on a regular basis (exclude pick up games at cons), my other group is all white british.

My previous campaign the group was also 4m 2f players: 1 German f, 1 English f, 1 Norwegian m, 2 English m (1 white 1 Asian), 1 Czech m. Current group is 1 American f, 1 English f, 1 American m, 1 Canadian m, 2 English m (1 white 1 Asian) - so, yup, I think it probably is my most diverse group ever. My first 3e group was all male, ca 3/4 Australian & 1/4 New Zealander, so quite homogenous. :)
