Wreck ashore (El Jefe judging) (Finished)

Hulgyr storms the beast on Wilhelm's right, drawing his greatsword as he charges the beast and lands his steel on it with all his might.

ooc:
charge, draw weapon as part of movement
initiative (rolled it anyway. it's not very clear to me if we roll this ourselves, could you state a ruling on this?): 1d20+3
attack: 1d20+6 +2 (charge) -1 (power attack)
damage: 2d6+7 +2 (power attack)
Invisible castle doesn't work atm, so if you would be so kind to roll the dice...
-edit- got the rolls from IC:
init: 18
attack: 16
damage: 15
rolls are here

seems ic breaks if you put a " in the comment

I don´t like to roll initiative unless it´s sctrictly needed, as it predisposes people for combat. I´ll roll it for you when the actual fight has already started (you´re ambushed...), or you can roll it yourselves when you declare an attack in your post

Eroin is going move to the area where the roar came from, and make sure the beast there doesn't make any aggressive actions towards any of the party.

ooc: Initiative 10+5=15

Also, going to ready an attack action against the creature, to be taken if it attacks.

[EDIT]: Invisible Castle is working now.

Startled by the roar, Wilhelm draws his morningstar and takes a step backwards. He calls upon the aid of his Goddess to protect him.

"My Lady of the Gauntlet, protect your soldier with a shield of faith, that he may continue your work!"

AC: 16 +2 deflection after spell is cast
Flatfooted AC: 15
Initiative: 1d20+2=18

Hulgyr rushes to help Wilhem; seeing that, the cat (a panther, now that you realize it) also springs to attack, wich makes the two elves join the fray as well. A second panther jumps out of the vegetation into the combat, not before Wilhem calls his goddess for protection. His armor and spell deflect most of the flurry of teeth and claws, but some tear his skin. The other one turns at Hulgyr, and thankfully can´t take enough impulse to jump on top of him, but the beast is quick enough to bite him in the arm with a quickness the orc couldn´t imagine [ooc: unconfirmed critical] The beast´s claws screech on Hulgyr´s chainmail without harming him. Eroin and Roddick arrive shortly after that, the monk with a good kick in the side of one panther´s head, while Roddick´s glaive smashes on top of the other one´s body, almost dealing a fatal blow. Hulgyr frees his arm from the cat´s bite and sinks his greatsword on it´s body, sticking it to the ground.

Oren turns and runs away as fast as he can.

[Initiative:

Hulgyr 18 (better Dex)
Wilhem 18
Panthers 8
Eroin 8
Roddick 8

You can´t Ready a charge, so I´ve changed Roddick´s action to Delay instead (he had better initiative than the panthers), same with Eroin.
Hulgyr can´t Charge and draw his sword, since he doesn´t have quickdraw. And can´t move far enough to attack the cats with a regular move action, as you can see in the map, so I made him advance and draw the greatsword. Roddick has a reach weapon and fast movement, while Eroin doesn´t have to draw anything and thus can charge. However, I used Hulgyr´s declared actions for round 2.

Timothy, the glaive´s damage on your sheet is wrong. It should be 1d10+4, not 1d10 +3.

Wilhem suffers 6 points of damage, Hulgyr 8. Notice Hulgyr already acted this round, and Wilhem has a miss chance because of darkness]

Wilhelm grunts at pain of his wound. He then steps forward, giving Roddick an opportunity to move around and flank. He then readies an action to strike defensively at the same time the barbarian does.

1d20-2=13 not counting flanking bonus yet.

AC is now at 20 w/ fighting defensively. w/o the dodge bonus, it's only at 18

OOG:

Ohhh. I don't think I say this enough but great job on the animated combat. It's so cool to look at.

Someone

[sblock]Err... I've been ignoring it for a while now, but is there any specific reason why you refer to Wilhelm as Wilhem? [/sblock]

-Hulgyr indeed has a move action left after killing the first panther, so he can move to give Roddick or Wilhelm a flanking bonus.

-When I say "leopard" read "panther". I got it wrong several times.

Nimisgod: [sblock]I have the posts with your characters sheets in my computer. I misstyped Wilhelm´s name in his file´s name, and for some reason, for me Wilhem stick more than Wilhelm. Now that I realized the extra L for the first time I´ll try to type it right.[/sblock]

Round 2:
After getting his sword out of the panther´s guts, Hulgyr moves to surround the remaining beast, looking for another opportunity to strike. The big cat notices it and turns to face the new threat, something that Wilhelm can´t let pass, hitting his foe with a glancing blow. Enraged, the panther turns and jumps on top of Roddick, clawing and biting away, but only the elf´s clothes are affected by the frenzied whirlwind.

(it´s your turn now, starting with Eroin and Roddick.)
