Wreck ashore (El Jefe judging) (Finished)

Eroin runs, gain momentum for a downward strike to the panther´s neck that instantly ends the beast´s life. All is quiet, and gradually your hearts stop pounding inside your chests and return to normality.

With the fight over, Wilhelm relaxes just a second in time to see their captive escaping. The Cleric sighs and attempts to mend his wounds. He knows well that he does not have any hope of catching up to the unarmored, unencumbered human. He might as well guard the camp.

"Oh Sister of Flame, if it pleases you, mend the wounds your servant has incurred so that he may continue serving you" He calls upon divine energy and channels it into his wounded side. Positive power flows into hurt he has suffered and Wilhelm finds his wounds almost completely cured.

He then moves to the camp and stands watch.

ooc: 350 each, or divided among us?

ic: Eroin runs as fast as she can after Oren. If he has escaped from sight, she will use her Track feat.

Throwing off the deap panther, Roddick uses his fast movement to go after Oren, Running as fast as he can and wavinf his Glaive around.

He's only getting out of here on OUR terms

Eroin, Hulgyr and Roddick start running in the general direction Oren took while Wilhelm remains near the panthers´ corpses healing his wounds, but your prisoner is nowhere to be seen in the mass of bushes and gnarled trees. [ooc: failed Spot and Listen checks, mostly because of the distance]. After a while, Eroin is forced to return and start tracking, but she can´t move too quickly while doing so. [ooc: Rolled a 12, enough to track him in the soft ground but not good enough to move more than half speed]. It´s evident that Oren will be far away soon enough.

[disclaimer: the DM has no special interest in Oren´s freedom or is trying to railroad. Though it may seem so. It´s the dice fault. Seriously.]

It seems he got away. I say we go back to camp and move along for an hour or so. We don't want this Oren guy sneaking up on us when we rest, since he knows our current location.
