Writing an introductory dungeon adventure - need more ideas!

Most monsters and traps was made, summoned etc by the familiarus after the gnome wizard disappeared and Trotch went nuts with paranoia. The potion of giant growth was a great idea though. Let's say that's how the familiarus "created" some of the monsters.

Except for the stairs leading down from the gnome's house, there are two other means of entry; one tunnel at first level (which is the way the halflings took when they entered) and probably some other exit at the third level (haven't started mapping that level yet).

The apes (the parents) were brought into the dungeon as babies some years ago.

The ideas are all great, by the way, and i will contact you by PM later on to ask for your real names so that i can credit you in the finished module.

I don't suppose there might be an English translation of said module when all is said and done? It's shaping up to be cool...

[edit] - Also, the private message function is only available to Community Supporters, which I am not. :( But you could e-mail me at barrow@iastate.edu :)

That is not impossible at all. The problem is that though i consider myself to be quite good in english, being from a non-english speaking country, i think i lack the skill required to provide english texts with enough flavour and variety to write a decent fantasy RPG module. This could however be solved if i translated the whole deal the best i could, and then sent it to a person who has got english as his/her first language, to "flavour it up", correct the lingual errors and so on. :)

The main point of this adventure, however, is to provide a swedish dnd adventure for players new to the game (and perhaps even new to the hobby in general). The number of decent introductory adventures for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd edition written in swedish, and available free of charge for the masses on the WWW today, could be counted at the fingers of a handless goblin. Being a great fan of DnD, that makes me sad, and i wish to do my share to change that.

Okay, i will mail you. And you other fellows here, if you provide ideas and wants to be credited in my module, please post your email (if you do not show it in your profile), or mail it to me (gammalord@hotmail.com) :)

are the pcs ever gonna face this familiar trotch? and what kinf of familiar is it. you could say that the familiar was the one to go insane and once it is "dispatched", the gnome gets better and could result in some real interesting results.

I think that if the familiar is powerful enough to summon spiders and et cetera that he might do alittle too much damage to the party, and you might want to also take ino account the stats that the familiar would have for the wizard level of its master (though it might make it too tough and you could take away some of them) but some good familiar choices would be an imp or somethign from the improved familiars section in Blood and Tome. you could even have a homunculous familiar lead a small group of them :D

Btw, Iced Tea, the familiar will be pretty tough for a low-level party, yes, but i also think that i should weaken him because of his master's dementia etc. Remove some levels or something.
