Writing workshop for d20 publishers?

One of the most rewarding things about joining the RPG publishing industry is that I love supporting the community and communicating with others about the business.

I have been thinking about starting a writing workshop for RPG publishers. I was going to setup a system online, but was unable to find a Postnuke script to setup one of the more advanced review forums that would be useful for such a thing.

I have been considering just using a forum, but this would possibly lead to many people posting, but few reviewing. It would need something to encourage people to review as well as post documents.

Any ideas would be helpful...


Also, I was wanting to build sections based on the following document types:

- Flavor Text
- Stories
- Rules and logic
- Layout and design
- From concept to complete

I thought these would cover much of the product design process.

Oh, and the forums would be private, with only active members able to see documents to review...

Any overall thoughts? It might help to improve the quality of some of the d20 products coming out...

Sue Cook had already set something up like this. There was a forum where editors, designers and even publishers discussed matters just like you were talking about, but I don't see it there anymore.
