WORLD WOLFERLING (FEDERATION) ACQUIRES SLAMPYRE: THE PYLE-DRIVING FROM WRESTLERS OF THE CASTE (SYSTEM)

ATLANTA, Ga. - World Wolferling (federation), best known for its backyard game Folding-Chair: The Ready Weapon, has acquired the license for production of its collectible card game Slampyre: The Pyle-Driving from former licensee Wrestlers of the Caste (System).

Designed by Eyebrow: The Dramatic Raising creator Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Slampyre: The Pyle-Driving adapts World Wolferling's popular backyard game to the CCG format with over 5 cards depicting various aspects of forcing an opponents head into a horizontal surface. The simple strategy and anti-social elements of Slampyre: The Pyle-Driving earned it a 2002 selection as one of the one thousand best CCGs by OutSource Magazine.

"Slampyre: The Pyle-Driving has always been regarded as one of the many, if not the also one of the many more, strategy CCGs. Expert CCG players who are looking for a card game with less play strategy inevitably get hooked on Slampyre: The Pyle-Driving once they play because of an addictive ink used in the manufacturing of the cards." said Hulk Hogan, former card-carrying card player and wrestler with his own diminishing draw in the CCG/Wrestling theatre.

The set will include Booster Packs plus Pre-Constructed Starter Decks so new players can get an easy introduction to the simplistic, strategic game play of Slampyre: The Pyle-Driving.

New and old Slampire: The Pyle-Driving players will continue to be able to seek treatment in over a hundred worldwide clinics to fight their addiction at a nominal fee.

Slampyre: The Pile-Driving - a review:

It is one of the games I have played. In playing the game I felt that I had played a game, and could definatly state that I had played a game. The artwork on the cards depict the characters, most of the time. While the company states that they use addictive ink on the cards, I have not seen any negative effects from this. On another note my tatoo artists say's she'll have my tatoo based on their logo ready this afternoon. When you play this game it is best to start at the begning and play until the end. The rules are balanced, when you consider the assumptions of the creators. All in all the rules book is only 3 pages making it an easy game to understand. The starter decks are reasonably priced and the assumptions book is written in simply english making it's 345 pages an easy read.

I would definatly give this game a rating.

Card 3 is so BROKEN!!! I cannot believe the headlock is done at a +5 modifier. I mean come on, this shafts the whole games system! I CAN NOT BELIEVE they have screwed up the crunchiness so much and thrown game balance out the window.

This used to be a beautiful system that provided minutes of fun, and now it is not worth the $250 cover price per card, I'd hardly rate it at $150.

The headlock is explained on page 198 of the assumptions book.

"It is assumed that no moronic teenage CCG player will have the money to afford this card therefor we should not waste time playtesting it."

Devon....GET A TABLE is explained on page 87 of the assumptions book.

"We are only printing 3 coppies of the table card. Since you need this card with the Devon card, limited to 100 coppies, in order to use 90% of his abilities he cannot possibly be over powered no matter what else we do with him."

OK, it's early in the morning here and I've just woken up.... this is all in jest right? Right?

And if so, I want a Stacy Keibler or Trish Stratus card :D

Just traded my house for a complete set--I feel in the long run this will be an investment for my kids---granted we are now homeless but I am thinking of the big picture.

Anyone in Tampa have any extra cardboard boxes for my new "home"?
